Sarah Rides the Tram Last Thursday the DeVyldere household was filled with people running around at 8:00 am as Hannah D., Mom D., Sarah D., and Jewel D. vamoosed from the building on a quest to Portland. The reason for this being that our very own Sarah D. had multiple appointments, one of which required riding a very amusement-park-like ride commonly referred to as "The Portland Aerial Tram" located at OHSU. "It was fun, it scared me to death, and it was awesome!" elucidated local innocent bystander, Sarah D. But by now you're probably wondering "why did Sarah get to go on such a cool thing and not me?!" which can be easily explained by stating that numerous doctors were preforming numerous tests and they have confirmed that she will have to have surgery. When this shocking news was first publicly announced to the immediately immediate family last Saturday night it caused an outburst of questions as to why and when the surgery is taking place and disclaimers from the L.K.S from having anything to do with the matter. We do know that the surgery is being done because of problems with Sarah's kidney, and that it will most-likely take place in a few weeks, as far as the L.K.S however, the jury's still out. On another note, we also have reason to believe Sarah is planning on attempting to take Lyric with her to the hospital.

And Now, a Word From Our Local Unauthorized L.K.S Scientists... Sarah D. (leading operator in the L.K.S's forensics lab development says: "Despite being a fairly new development we have made lots of discoveries, like did you know that adding pepper to baking soda and vinegar makes a stink bomb? Or that a Nutella jar can keep an egg from cracking when you throw it off the roof?" These are the kind of experiments that better prepare us for the future in cooking. Sports Update: Faith D. had a tournament in Monmouth last weekend where she won 2 games, had her first official game last night, and has another game on Thursday at the BGCA. Rachel and Grace D. played Central this week and have an away game on Friday.

Rumor column Ultimate Cook offs (the new way to do home-ech) Mom D.,Hannah D., and Jerusha D. are going on a vacation to Prince Edward island.

Joel and Europe A few months ago our very own Joel D. decided to go to Europe, and that was just the beginning... Joel got to see some really cool places, starting in Madred Spain where he stayed 1 week with Emily Skipper, and then to Jured, one of the biggest cities in Europe, a relaxing beach in Monica, and almost everywhere else from the North Coast to the South Coast. Joel said what he likes about Europe is that everywhere he went he was surprised by the way people were living their lives and he was impressed by how different their priorities and habits were. Right now Joel is back in the United States in Miami Florida, the polar opposite to us, but will be coming to Oregon fairly soon.
