God Rocks Worship Camp  There are many ways to say this, GRWC (pronounced G-r-r wick), GRWC (pronounced G-e-e are W C), or my personal favorite from Daisy Bell "We do things with feathers" which is no longer incorrect, (you will understand if you see the throne room.) Anyway, this is the beginning of what is referred to as "dead week", among us DeVylderes. It's the week right before GRWC (however you want to pronounce it) starts, and it is a LOT of work. During dead week, the DeVyldere family practically lives at The Assembly of God Church. Decorating and setting up is hard enough, but I think the real killer is handing out flyers in the 90 degree heat. Though it's usually painful, it's all worth it. Daisy Bell comes and talks to us sometimes, we get to learn how to play cool instruments, and we get to learn cool dances too. I think we can all agree that the only major downside is mom ordering creepy wigs over the internet, (since she's the story teller.)

Anonymous tip(about the Moriah's Raspberries add):I would like to point out that the SECOND health inspector (the one who was certified with a Bi-mart receipt) gave a fantastic review. Except when the dog came into the restaurant, but we won’t mention that detail.

The Movie column New movies: None. New documentaries: None. New music videos: None. But tickets for the live Mid-nites show are being sold for one penny per ticket in the living room on Tuesday 1:00-1:30 pm. (You can also get tickets online by posting a comment.)

                    A chin scrapin' story

You may be wondering the following questions: Why is this story called what it is? What has happened that is T.W.C worthy? Why is she listing questions? I might ask her. (Inside joke.) Well, here's the real story: So once upon a time, Sarah, Faith, and Jewel were standing in the little girls room, when Faith heard Ezra and Keturah jumping on the trampoline, (by the way, this was at 10:00 at night.) Faith knew Ezra and Keturah were going to get in trouble, so she turned to Sarah and said "go get the little kids off the trampoline." So Sarah ran out the door to retrieve the little kids. But 1 and a half seconds later, Jewel and Faith heard a loud scream, so they rushed to see what it was, and there on the ground, was Sarah. Apparently she had tripped on a blanket on the floor, and had scraped her chin on the step. Mom and Dad hurried down the stairs to see what had happened, and they got Sarah ready and took her to the E.R to get her chin glued, and by the time they got back, it was 1:00 in the morning.

So there you have it; a chin scrapin' story.

                                               The Mid-nites re-group

You guessed it! The Mid-nites are getting back together again for one night only!( I'd like to point out that this one night only thing is practically turned into a monthly thing by now!) It's their callback, callback, 3 more callbacks and they get a free pie! But anyway, they are performing on Wednesday night, and there is a rumor going around that they are singing a bonus track also.

Faith (the founder and choreographer of the dance group) says: "Sarah agreed to do the call back under one condition, that we would sing "God girl" by Jamie Grace and the song "We are" from Ice age 4 with guest stars Ezra and Keturah. (H

am and Cheese!( inside joke) And we are dancing to a special surprise song.

Sarah says: "It's in the mid of the night."

Jewel says: ""The Mid-nites are getting back together?! Wait, don't quote me on that!"

The weekly Chuck Norris joke: A Handicapped parking sign does not signify that this spot is for handicapped people. It is actually in fact a warning, that the spot belongs to Chuck Norris and that you will be handicapped if you park there.

The spotlight is currently down because the last person in our family to do the spotlight on is Joel, but since he has not gotten back to us yet, we regret to inform you that the spotlight is not coming out this week. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

                               News flash                                 (Did you know?)

That Emily Smucker has been adopted?

That SHE didn't even know that?

That Grace is taking a break from writing the third page on The Weekly Comet for two months?

That Elijah is also taking a break for two months?

                             Now you know

An A.D.D for T.W.C  Since it is just Faith D. writing for T.W.C right now, I need more help. So if you are interested about writing for The Weekly Comet, please let me know. You can send an e-mail, post a comment, or tell me in person. And if you did decide to take the job, you could probably interview people via telephone, e-mail, or carrier pigeon. And I can give you ideas.                 Thanks!
