The Weekly Comet 45 (comments and criticisms welcome)
Otter Outing Last Saturday, also known as the day of the strawberry festival in Lebanon, the DeVyldere household woke up with the knowledge that they were going to sell otter pops and soda at the parade. After loading up, two cars spread out from the parking lot, one of them in which Elijah driving for his first time with JUST siblings, and of course all of them wearing G.R.W.C T-shirts. As siblings at the scene described their ride with Elijah, it was: "Exasperating," and also "Very interesting to see Elijah's first case of road rage." (May the road rest in piece.) But that's beside the point, the real topic is the parade. The Mega Foods in Lebanon was generous enough to let us use 3 parking spaces to use as our base, and then we filled up coolers on wheels and wagons, put homemade signs on them, and sent 3 groups out to sell them to the people watching the parade. It went fairly well, we made a good profit and halfway through we ran out of otter pops so Mom D. had to run to the store to get Popsicles. We saw many floats and groups, including Annie T. (a friend of the DeVylderes) playing foot-golf in a wedding dress. Just in case you were wondering, the number one rule to a good float is CANDY. Also, after the festival of a delicious fruit, some DeVylderes went to Otter beach in Corvallis to celebrate Jamin's (another friend of the DeVylderes) birthday.
Art Galla Last Saturday evening, some DeVylderes went to the pillar (a building in Corvallis) to see all the amazing art works of the people in the internship, including Hannah D. . There were some incredible pieces that will be shown in the photo gallery next week.
Unanimous tip by Grace D.: The whole L.K.S agrees that there is a reward of one star burst to whoever or whomever (they don't care who) captures the person on their wanted poster.(Good luck Elijah) The barbecue At the DeVyldere house there a barbecue consisting of hamburgers, hot dogs,and dessert. The Mantel's, Neufelds, Mark, Sushami, and Mark and Micah's roommate that we had never met before: Jordan, came and we had an awesome time. Of course, it all resulted into Micah climbing on the roof and homemade ice cream, but that's just how things go.

Newsflash (Did you know?) That Jet, (A.K.A my adorable kitten (A.K.A Houdini the escape artist) (as he is now called.)) Has recently made it all the way down the stairs in his last attempt to take over mankind with his cuteness? That there was a shark parade? That Faith's birthday's on Friday?
