Mother's day extravaganza Last Sunday. on the tenth of May, Mom D. came home from church with some other DeVylderes to find that Hannah, Jerusha, and most of the other children had made a awesome lunch. What I think is more astonishing though, is the chocolate fountain that they borrowed and set up with strawberries and pretzels and other things to dip in. The lunch included a game of "Name that child" which was constructed by us kids making a bunch of flashcards that said "This kid fell into a tree" or something like that, and Hannah read the flash cards out loud to said Mom, and even though half the stuff Mom didn't even know, she only got 4 wrong. The funniest thing during this game was probably Elise (Isaiah's girl-friend), because as these cards were being read out she was laughing slash terrified because she didn't know any of this had happened.

After lunch was cleaned up and the chocolate fondue was cleaned off the children, the family settled into the living room for an epic battle of "Mom and Grandma Trivia." This game is where the family is divided into two teams and Hannah reads the questions about Mom or Grandma out loud. Grandma or Mom will write the answer down on a whiteboard, and the first team to push their button and answer correctly wins.

And after all that, the children went out to the barn, got the flowers for mom and Grandma D., and after giving them, went and planted them in the flower bed.

Hope you had an awesome mother's day!!!!!!!
