The ice age A dangerous non housebroken apocalypse covered almost 2 3rds of the united states of America, including our home state Oregon. It started last thursday, where we each woke up to the sounds of Children and snow, and children shouting, and ended on Monday. A full 3 week days off!!!! These snow days are now referred to as "The Ice Age." There was snowball, fights sledding, and even a snowman made by Grace. (She named him unicorn, in honor of Tovah.) But the coolest was definitely the igloos. Rachel, Grace, Faith, Sarah, Jewel, and Emma (the neighbor across the street) dumped bucket after bucket of snow into a huge pile, packing it every now and then, and then they dug from the middle down by the ground, and before they knew it, they had made an igloo. It was fairly medium sized, we could fit two people in without it being crammed, but the we had the idea to build an even bigger one and connect the two with a tunnel. Sadly, we did not succeed in finishing the next one before they caved in when it melted, but we did get pictures of both igloos. Check the photo gallery. Three cheers for the ice age!!!!!!!!!!!

T.W.C mascot The time has come, and I have counted all the votes. A panda bear named Halley is our new mascot!!!!! Our sketch artist, Tovah Mantell, has gotten started on the picture, and there is no way of knowing when it will come out, but it will be the official sign that this is an official T.W.C newspaper. And it's going to be awesome.

Anonymous tip: A mysteriously blond and tall person hacked into the L.K.S database. The L.K.S is trying to find him, but they are having some technical issues because he jammed steak in it, you can imagine what they're doing.

The Tickle game Tools: hands, little kids, (it's preferred that they don't burst your eardrums when they scream), and an abundant amount of waivers to sign. Rules: I should really cut this part out. How to play: Put the kids in a single file line across and have them stick their arms in the air. Then have someone (usually Dad) almost tickle them. If you flinch, you lose.

Mine craft A dangerously fun game has hacked the minds of children in the DeVyldere household. It's name? "Minecraft." Here's a typical conversation at breakfast in the DeVyldere household: (Elijah comes in) Elijah: "Sarah, did you steal my carrots?" Sarah: "Possibly. But you stole my multi colored sheep first." Elijah: "I didn't do that, I just ate your zombie meat." Sarah: "Then who stole my purple sheep?" (Rachel runs out of the room) Sarah: "L.K.S, get her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" So I guess Minecraft is very useful for attacking skills. Minecraft helps kids in different ways, including by making them think they can fly in real life. It's very important that a kid believes they can fly if they try hard enough at one point in their life, otherwise, what's the fun? Minecraft also helps kids with things they need to know in the future, like how to build a tree fort, look for food, tame wolves, and most importantly, how to not get blown up by a creeper.
