First day of Autumn The first day of fall was yesterday, and more importantly, the last day of summer was a day before that. But this does not necessarily mean no more sun. At least for Tangent. With our Indian summer/pouring down rain weather, we never get bored. So, now that that's said, let's talk about the fun things in fall, like ultimate leaf pile jumping, wheelbarrow races, and drinking tea. All those things are so much fun, but the one that trumps them all is running outside barefoot when it's hailing, besides the fact that there's a 93.148...chance that you'll get a cold, but other than that, you should try it sometime. Anyway, back to the point, fall has started, so let's embrace it by hugging trees and making everything orange, yellow, and red. Have a great fall.
Monkeys and bananas: (Ezra's idea of why monkeys are now known for liking bananas) Ezra says: "Okay so, a monkey was walking through the forest when he saw a banana, but he thought it was gold, so he took the banana back to his friends and was like 'Gold! I found gold!' and then he tasted it and he was like 'This gold tastes good!' and that is why monkeys are now known for liking bananas."
Outside news: Dolphins in your Math class? Think again Scientists are having doubts about whether dolphins deserve their reputation for being one of the cleverest creatures in the animal kingdom. A note to the scientists: Can't you guys ever make up your minds? First dolphins are intelligent, then they're not. It's not like you need real evidence and facts and all that junk to figure it out. New research suggests the belief that they possess high intelligence may be due, in part, to a look that makes it appear as if they are always smiling. I don't really get what's wrong with smiling, that makes dolphins smarter than animals that are grumpy all the time, right? Are dolphins really as smart as they were told to be? Apparently no one really knows for sure, yet, but as for now, dolphins are pretty cool whether they're smart or not.
Something new at the fire station We have knowledge from the L.K.S (the only people crazy enough to get up at 5:30 in the morning (no offense to the people that do get up at that time)) to believe that last Thursday, the fire station next door poured cement into a dug out hole in the ground, as if the flooring for a structure of some kind. DeVyldere researchers are looking into it but they haven't the slightest clue as to what it is, they have ruled out space shuttle because it's too small for that, unless it was a really small shuttle for a really small alien, hmm... Ezra says: "It's going to be like a little shack." Jewel says: "I think they're going to use it for training." Sarah says: "It's just a little cement pad." Faith says: "They are totally building a Scandinavian restaurant, where everything has a weird Scandinavian name." Grace says: "What thing?!" Elijah says: "They're building a giant wooden something. Well, I am not entirely sure what it is, but I am pretty sure it's a lizard. Hi mom!"
Sports story: Bear ball Jewel says: "It's kind of like volleyball, but with a bear."
How to play The word on the street about how to play this fast spreading sensation of a game is this: You hit the ball up in the air and over the net, and the person that's on the other end of the net try's to hit it back. And apparently it's all a fog from there on.

Anonymous tip: Jack Frost is coming soon, luckily for us the L.K.S is tracking him as we write. Also, scientists in the DeVyldere household (Keturah) just made a breakthrough discovery when she found out that when you freeze water it makes ice.
News flash (did you know?) That Keturah is apparently building a hotel? That George (the mosquito eater) went A wall? That Faith is doing a parody off of a Justin Beiber song? Now you know
The second cousin DeVylderes The DeVyldere kids now have a second cousin! Last Wednesday, a new baby boy came into the world, and his name is Bradley. It turns out, that boy was the baby of our cousin, Joy Pyles! And so you do not have to do the family relations math, that makes Bradley our second cousin! Happy baby day Joy!
The weekly L.K.S news: Fall fun park Sarah says: "We're going to serve treats and have fun, at the park, in the fall. It's not a real park it's our backyard." Jewel says: "We have a fall what?! Sarah has a lot of explaining to do." Ezra says: "Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Keturah says: "I would play on the swings, all day."
