The Weekly Comet 1 (comments and criticisms welcome)
Grandma Mary and Grandpa John had a party on the 25th of May 2013, to celebrate their 50th anniversary and grandma's birthday. Since the anniversary was in June, and her birthday is in April, they celebrated it halfway in between. Lot's of their friend's and relatives were there, including almost all of their 38 grandchildren. There were songs performed by the DeVylderes, the Pyles, the Worcesters, the Ferriers, and also one sung by Joy Worcester just herself. And there was also a dance to a song by Benjamin Dunn done by the DeVylderes the Worcesters, and some of the Ferriers. There was food, there was people who shared some memories of grandma and grandpa, there was second cousins you didn't even know you had, there was a really cool half-an-hour long slide show put together by Hannah, and there was a 3 hour long clean up party afterwards. All in all, that party was something to remember.
II News outside: "Dead week" Darkness falls over the school-going world. Family and friends stagger in bewilderment at the random disa/re-a ppearances of their loved ones since the beginning of what some are starting to refer to as "The week of the dead" (Fineas and Ferb, 3, 8). We interviewed a manboy who, we presumed by his appearance, had been caught up in the catastrophe. Unfortunately, about an hour into the interview we discovered that he had only been hit by a train and had not actually been unfortunate enough to be caught in school during dead week.
Meanwhile our street team was been hard at work collecting evidence from the victims and preforming suspension tests on those who were still twitching. So far, they have offered a number of theories as to why the plague has hit us so hard, but all of these involve skinny jeans and hipster beanies. Needless to say, we will not be releasing these theories to the general public without permission from the ruling party, as they have asked us not to reveal their feelings that the Hall of Teen-agers is behind this recent outbreak.
The movies Since Micah installed Windows Movie Maker on the upstairs computer 2 weeks ago, all of the movie making companies in the DeVyldere household, (you wouldn't believe how many there are), have been extremely busy making all kinds of movies and documentaries. They are actually very productive. The estimated outcome for a movie is approximately 2 and a half weeks, ( 3 and a half for music videos and really big time production movies), as compared to 2 or three YEARS for another movie, plus, they're cheaper. One penny per ticket, or a discounted 4 person ticket for only 5 pennies. And so, we are going to do this column every week telling you about the new upcoming movies, what they're about,where you can get tickets, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
A Fashion show
Two weeks ago there was a fashion show directed by Faith D., and judged by the original judges from the X factor: Evangelina Worcester, (Simon) , Rachel D., (Demi Lovato), Hannah D., (Randy), and Sammi Wiard (Paula Abdul.) There were 5 different categories: Alaska, California, any type of dance, western\prairie, and ball. And the contestants were Sarah D., Jewel D., and Ezra D.. And in the end everyone made it to Hollywood!(Never to return. Mom, Dad, we are sorry you had to find out this way.)
Anonymous tip by Joy Worcester: "After a rather nasty turn of events that ended in my family getting kicked out of the hotel, the hotel front desk worker and I have called off our engagement."
